At Hempel Design Lab (HDL), we are dedicated to getting your order to you as quickly and securely as possible. Please review the following information regarding our shipping rates, delivery timelines, and international policies.

Order Processing

All orders are processed within 1-3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in the shipment of your order, we will contact you via email at info@hempeldesignlab.com.

Shipping Rates & Estimates

We offer flat-rate shipping to most regions worldwide. Delivery delays can occasionally occur due to customs processing or carrier delays.

Standard Shipping Rates:

  • Europe: $14.50 USD
  • United Kingdom: $7.95 USD
  • North America: $12.95 USD
  • Asia: $7.95 USD
  • Australia & New Zealand: $9.95 USD

Free Shipping Offer:
We offer free standard shipping on all orders with a subtotal of $200.00 USD or more, regardless of the destination region.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once your order has been dispatched, the estimated delivery times are as follows:

  • Europe: 4-6 business days
  • United Kingdom: 4-6 business days
  • North America: 5-8 business days
  • Asia: 5-6 business days
  • Australia & New Zealand: 6-8 business days

Note: Business days exclude weekends and public holidays. Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the date of order placement.

Shipment Confirmation & Order Tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order has shipped containing your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours. You can track your package directly through the carrier’s website using the provided link.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Hempel Design Lab ships globally. However, please be aware that your order may be subject to import duties and taxes (including VAT) which are incurred once a shipment reaches your destination country.

  • Responsibility: HDL is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer.
  • Payment: These charges are typically collected by the delivery carrier upon receipt of the package or may be billed separately depending on the local customs authority.

Damages and Loss

Hempel Design Lab is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. If you received your order damaged, please contact the shipment carrier to file a claim immediately.

However, we want to ensure you are satisfied. Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim, and then contact our support team at info@hempeldesignlab.com with photos of the damage and your order number. We will do our best to assist you in resolving the issue with the carrier or arranging a replacement if stock permits.

Incorrect Address

Please double-check your shipping address at checkout. HDL is not responsible for any incorrect or undeliverable addresses provided by the customer. If an order is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for any additional shipping fees required to resend the package.
