Returns & Exchanges

At Hempel Design Lab (HDL), we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not entirely happy with your order, we are here to help.

Return Window

We accept returns for items that are in their original, unused, and unwashed condition, with all original tags and packaging intact. Returns must be initiated within 14 days from the date of delivery.

Items that show signs of wear, have been washed, or are missing tags/packaging cannot be accepted for return.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are considered Final Sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:

  • Items marked as "Final Sale" at the time of purchase.
  • Gift cards.
  • Any item that has been worn, washed, or altered.

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact our customer support team at info@hempeldesignlab.com with your order number and the reason for the return. We will provide you with further instructions and the return shipping address.

Note on Return Shipping Costs:

  • If the return is due to a defect or an error on our part, HDL will cover all shipping costs.
  • For standard returns (change of mind, size issues), the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping. Original shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.

Exchanges

We currently do not process direct exchanges to ensure you receive your replacement as quickly as possible. If you need a different size or color, we recommend placing a new order for the desired item on our website and returning your original purchase for a refund following the steps above.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you via email regarding the approval or rejection of your refund.

If approved, a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment within 5-10 business days. Please note that it may take additional time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund to your account.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please contact us immediately at info@hempeldesignlab.com within 7 days of delivery. Please include photos of the damage and your order number. We will arrange for a replacement or a full refund, including shipping costs, at no expense to you.
